The International Input Manual & Form are not required for typical Eco international projects and are only used if users are interested in researching and providing data needed for improving the model functionality within their own country nation-wide. Please contact i-Tree Support by email info@itreetools.org to discuss additional development and integration requirements before proceeding. For most international users hoping to setup i-Tree in a specific location and not nation-wide, i-Tree Database is a more appropriate option.

i-Tree Database provides a central submission site for new location-specific data coming into i-Tree from around the world. Submitted data will be vetted and officially added to i-Tree Eco and potentially other tools in the future. Users in these new locations will be able to update their software and run an analysis with new locations and species without requiring manual processing by the US Forest Service. Below are some files that are used in the data submission process with i-Tree Database.

The following (3) pre-defined Canopy cover class files can be used in an i-Tree Canopy project. Download and save the desired cover class file on your computer. Select the file during step 2 of Canopy project configuration to load cover classes. The first (2) files were designed for use in conjunction with an i-Tree Hydro analyses. The third file was used by the Wisconsin DNR for their multi-community Canopy survey to include "potential" tree canopy.
- i-Tree Canopy (8) cover class version for i-Tree Hydro - This file has (8) cover classes and differentiates between impervious covers.
- i-Tree Canopy (6) cover class version for i-Tree Hydro - This file has (6) cover classes and lumps impervious cover in one class. Example image (.png) of 6 Hydro covers classes.
- Wisconsin DNR i-Tree Canopy (6) cover class version - This file has (6) cover classes and includes a "possible tree canopy" cover type.
