Events are listed below as both an opportunity to learn more about i-Tree and as a resource for those who wish to use training materials for their own programs. i-Tree workshops are often organized and offered by multiple organizations, but may not be advertised here. Please also check with your State Urban and Community Forestry Coordinators to learn more about i-Tree learning opportunities near you.

UNRI Online Instructional Workshops Sessions

A monthly web-based instructional series that will introduce the latest tools and updates in the i-Tree software suite. Free hour long interactive sessions will be led by i-Tree development team members and other instructors.

Australia: i-Tree Master Class 2017

This 2-day Masterclass will teach participants how to set-up, apply, interpret outputs and implement findings of i-Tree Canopy and i-Tree Eco projects. Those skills enable you to measure, monitor, plan and build the business-case for urban trees. Participation in this training will also earn 12 credits toward maintaining their International Society of Arboriculture credentials.

Inventory and Environmental Evaluation of the Urban Forest workshop in Mexico, delivered in Spanish

El presente curso tiene como objetivo familiarizar a los participantes con el paquete i-Tree, para facilitar la toma de datos, el procesamiento y análisis de los mismos, determinando así la condición, estructura y servicio ambiental de los árboles.

The purpose of this course is to familiarize participants with the i-Tree package, to facilitate data collection, processing and analysis, thus determining the condition, structure and environmental service of trees.

i-Tree 2017 Preview - PCF 2016

Members of the i-Tree Development Team, including Dr. Dave Nowak from the US Forest Service and Scott Maco from the Davey Institute, will be previewing i-Tree 2017 at the Arbor Day Foundation's Partners in Community Forestry Conference. in Indianapolis, IN on Nov 17th, 2016.

i-Tree Hydro: An Accessible Tool for Modeling Hydrological Benefits of Trees & Green Infrastructure - WEFTEC 2016

This hands-on workshop was part of the 2016 Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC), and focused on applying i-Tree Hydro to model hydrologic effects of green infrastructure and urban land cover.

Tools to Quantify Environmental Benefits of Trees for Stormwater & Green Infrastructure Projects - WEFTEC 2015 Chicago, IL

This workshop was part of the Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) and demonstrated the use of several tools to calculate tree benefits for use in stormwater design projects.

i-Tree2015: New Innovations for Assessing Community Tree Services and Values - ISA2015 Tree Academy Workshop Orlando, FL

This ISA workshop demonstrated i-Tree Canopy, previewed i-Tree Lanscape and i-Tree Eco updates planned for release later in 2015.

European i-Tree Conference - Alnarp, Sweden

The European i-Tree conference will discuss how i-Tree can be used in Europe and how i-Tree has been applied around the world. The program will feature international speakers from Australia, Canada, Europe and The United States.
